This week the second edition of the Campine Junior Golf Classic will be held on the Kempense Golf Club in Mol, Belgium. Players from, amongst others, Russia, Mexico, Letland, Spain and Slovenia will compete for important World Amateur Golf Ranking points.
The Campine Junior Golf Classic is part of the Global Junior Golf Tour and 21golfleague and open for players in the age of 12 – 21 with a handicap limit from 5 for boys and 8 for girls and has the WAGR status.
Tournament director Henk van Dijken from the Dutch organisation Pro Golf Events says ‘that it feels like coming home again’. ‘The greenkeepers are doing a real good job and managed to keep the course green although the drought and get the stimp up to 10. Next to that we always feel very welcome at this beautiful golf course’ he continuous.
The weather for coming weeks is look very promising which makes that all the ingredients are right for a wonderful tournament. Just like last year audience is welcome to come and watch.
