Day 1 of the Danish Junior Games started with some rainy and windy conditions. The Greenkeeping team of Blokhus Golfcenter have done an amazing job to get the course ready for this time of the year. Players had immaculate greens with a speed of 10.5.
Due to the difficult conditions a red number has not been posted sofar. The Dane Magnus Arend Ostergaard, who knows the course very well and is the former winner of 2017, has opened round 1 with a 72 and has a 4 shot lead!
In the girls division a very close match is expected as Emilia Trend Poulsen, Malene Meldgard Alridsen both from Denmark and Nathalie Borg from Sweden (2018 winner of the Danish Junior Games and 2019 winner of the Swedish Junior Classics) sharing the lead with an opening 76 (+4).
