Almost a hundred players teed off at the first round of the Nomads South African Juniors International, in the early Tuesday morning between 7AM and 9AM. As soon as the temperatures got higher, the scores did the opposite.

Some players were literally on fire and able to shoot some really low scores today on opening day. Best round of the day comes from Kera Healy (South Africa) with shooting 65 (-7). She takes an early eight stroke lead over her nearest competitor.

Leader in the boys category is fellow South African Barend Botha came in at five under par (67). Damian Osner (SA) and Cole Stevens (SA) are within one stroke of Botha.

The ninth edition of the Nomads South African Juniors International is held from March 2nd – 5th 2020 and is part of the world wide Global Junior Golf tour and takes place at Cape Town’s club of choice; Rondebosch GC. The tournament is hosted by Pro Golf Events from the Netherlands and thank for the great support by the Nomads Foundation, Rondebosch GolfClub, Western Province Golf, GolfRSA, Market Toyota Rondebosch East, Cobra Puma Golf and Coca Cola Peninsula Beverages.
