The final round of the 2018 Evolve Spanish Junior Championship was a double win today for Russian golfers!
After winning the Zavidovo Juniors International earlier this year the 2 Russian players celebrated again a double win in sunny Spain.

Nataliya Guseva fired a fine 70 to finish at -2 for the championship. Guseva who was defending her crown as last years champion enjoyed a comfortable 4 shot margin over Spain’s Valentina Albertazzi who was alone in second. Two- time winner of the Championship Pia Babnik(Slovenia) was leading the final round in the ladies division but slipped with a 76 in the final round and finished third on her own.

In the boys division completing the Russian triumph was Egor Eroschenko firing the only sub 70 round for the championship with a score of 69. His final round included 6 birdies in total and ended the Championship at +2. His nearest competitors Petr Janik (Czech Republic) and Kiko Franscisco Coelho (Portugal)were 5 shots behind at +7.

86 players from 20 countries competed in this years Championship and experienced challenging conditions most of the week but finally the true Spanish weather came through on the final day and sunny skies were welcomed by all the players.
